In and around the Buffalo area, most homes were built in the early 1900’s. The architecture is beautiful, the workmanship is impeccable, but the heating systems are extremely outdated and air conditioning is a rare amenity. Homes that are fit with cast iron radiators use electricity to power the system and oil/gas to heat the house. The use of 2 utilities can be expensive. Mini Splits can be up to 3x as energy efficient as traditional forced air systems. Buffalo winters are rough and often times the cast iron radiators can’t keep up. In order to try and heat our homes we leave the heat constantly running and our utility bills skyrocket. Then in the summer the radiators are useless in our struggle to battle the heat. With new advances in the HVAC world Blue’s wants to bring a modern solution to your families climate control needs. If you have a forced hot air system that is carried throughout your home with duct work, air conditioning can be added to with a condenser and evaporator coil.Unfortunately, often times the duct work already installed in Buffalo area homes are undersized. This causes uneven air distribution. The rooms near the end of the duct work system lack the velocity needed to heat or cool the room effectively. In order to combat that improper air distribution, a mini split unit would be a perfect solution. It gives a modern look that can keep any area comfortable no matter the temperature in the rest of the house. We lived in an old style victorian home, fitted with cast iron radiators, on the east side. I left the area to expand my horizons when I was 16 years old, headed for New Hampshire. While in NH I finished my high school education, found a job and became part of the working class. Ive worn many hats ranging from debt collector to carpenter. In each position, I learned the value of creating relationships with our customers in order to build up the business.
